Conservation Architects Vagdia and Holmes are helping raise awareness of the urban environment by helping to organise a Jane's Walk.
The walk, planned for Sunday 11th May 2014, will be from the Coventry Canal basin (parking available in the Leicester Row public car park nearby, charges apply) to Electric Wharf, and back to the Basin. Along the route, the walk will look at how the waterway creates a connection between the city centre and the surrounding commercial, business and residential areas.
There will be a special 'behind the scenes' tour of the Canal Basin Warehouse, and it is hoped that there will be a similar tour of one the live/work buildings at Electric Wharf.
After the walk, there will be a chance to enjoy refreshments (charges apply) at The Tin Music & Arts Centre.
The walk will be led by local Conservation Architect Dhiran Vagdia, and will offer a fascinating insight into the architecture of the area.
The walk will start at 11.30am, and last approximately an hour. If you are interested in attending, please contact the Vagdia and Holmes Office on 024 7622 2393, or send us an Email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
