About the venue
Woodhouse Farm and Garden CIC is a project created to give a sustainable future to a 22 acre farm in Staffordshire created from park land once designed by Capability Brown, a 3.5 acre walled garden which predates 1760 and other small pieces of land which had also be part of the now lost Fisherwick Estate. Replanting the walled garden with fruit and vegetables started in 2010 and now supports a community-supported agriculture project and allows surplus to be sold to visitors.
Now the walled garden is almost complete, concentration has turned to the Grade II listed wall and out building, some of which are in an urgent need of repair. Delegates will be repairing the walled garden during the course.
