Event Description

NAWIC Midlands are delighted to announce details of our next event, a talk by Toni Kelly, which will be held on the evening of Wednesday 13th March at the All Bar One, Newhall Street, Birmingham at 6pm.

Toni is the Head of Learning Spaces Development at the University of Birmingham, a role she effectively created through developing the University’s methology in providing a cohesive approach for forward thinking Learning Spaces. As part of her role Toni oversees the development of all areas of student learning spaces and takes an active interest in the design of these spaces, ensuring they provide a progressive and flexible approach to teaching and learning. Toni has recently been appointed a new position implementing her ideas and expertise in Learning Spaces at the University of Hong Kong.

Toni will discuss her current role and how teaching and learning spaces have developed to address changes in technology and teaching pedagogies.

A drink and nibbles will be provided on arrival with a chance to network afterwards.
