Food and drink will be provided.
6:00pm Tour - A brief architectural tour around the Historic Buildings of Ingestre including the only Wren Church outside London.

We would like to ask members to contribute ideas as to what kind of events and role they feel that the NSSA and RIBA could provide. We are a membership run organisation and volunteer our time to promote excellence in design and Architecture. Please email and propose ideas for what you would like to see your branch activities.
We would like to ask members if they are interested in Building Visits perhaps further afield over a weekend.
Weekend Architecture Visit –
The Branch could organize design competition with emphasis on the improvement of the existing housing stock, possibly in conjunction with English Heritage.
Ibstock - Following a meeting with Matthew Guy of Ibstock they are willing to fund RIBA events.
We are also looking at a factory tour of Ibstock at Chesterton and Park House and a building visit to the Civic Centre Hanley.
They are also keen to help fund the BCB with the idea of an Architectural Pavilion.
We also have the LIF (Local Initiative Funding) back in place for local events.

City of Culture 2021
Contact to be made with prominent people involved with Stoke’s bid, with a view to discuss the bid and how the branch can be involved.

We should write to all Local Authorities in the Branch area to determine their policy; copying in John Webb, Chair of UV. Also contact the Chamber of Commerce and LEP to establish their approach to Design Review. Should this be sent from the Regional Director?
BCB – British Ceramics Biannual 2017
Following Talks with Iain Cartwright – Looking at a building in clay. WASP Italian architects interested in 3D printing in clay at a large scale.
Also migration and how ceramics have been influenced by incoming and exporting ideas from around the world.
Elers Brothers influence on Wedgwood.
